Lia Whitehair
Coach
Lia was born and raised on the water in Beverly, MA. She has always been active in town athletics, but once she found soccer she realized her passion for training.
Lia was introduced to CrossFit her freshman year of high school to increase endurance and build muscle while playing both national soccer for the club NEFC and for the US Olympic Development team. Throughout her years of cross training she fell in love with the CrossFit community, programming, and the opportunity for competition!
In 2021 she decided to get her L1 coaching certification and shortly after, she began coaching at the box she grew up in. She has an extensive background in coaching various sports. From 6 years of instructing sailing for adults and children, back to her roots on the turf coaching soccer. She also interned at Umass Amherst as a strength and conditioning coach for their baseball, track and field, and men’s lacrosse teams while she studied kinesiology (the study of human movement).
Lia’s best quality as a coach is her personability, getting to know athletes so they can achieve their goals in and outside of the gym.
One fun fact about Lia is she loves to scuba dive!
